I can now feel the amount of works I have to get done. I've been lazy and idle enough almost all the 'ber' months this 2012 that as it is nearing its end, I find the loads of write ups and fictions I have to get done a bit overwheming. As I've said from my old entries, I've been thoroughly enthralled and addicted with Johnlock fics and consequently, have also been thoroughly Cumberbatched. I've been actually spending most of my spare time reading slash fics regarding Sherlock and John that I've neglected not only my already scanty social life but also my writings and creative hobbies--all that I believe makes me who I am. Do not get me wrong. I regret nothing as all the time I've spent reading the awesome and brilliant fanfictions were spent most lucratively and pleasantly. Nothing can taint the special high and sheer pleasure brought by male slash fics! As I've said, i've loads of writing ups to do and lots of catching up and updating so I wanna take this precious time to give salute to the four things that encouraged me greatly to get back on my feet:
[1] My New Phone: Sherlock
I've always thought that I'm not the kind of person who bothers about getting an expensive smart phone. I never could've been more wrong. Correction: I'm not the kind of person who's crazy about iPhones and touch phones and Androids, yes. I'm the Blackberry kind--the sort that's crazy over its Bold phones. Realized how i'm kind of a visceral person and greatly appreciates being able to touch the keypads as I magic the words the mind conceived into written ones. The phone just oozes professionalism and demands respect! I actually had to clean my room the day I was gonna buy my phone, feeling a bit guilty that such a wonderful, amazing phone would arrive at his new but littered home. So I've amended the littered part. ^^
The sheer joy and satisfaction i have with my new phone is unparalleled. It gets my work done and keeps me grounded to whatever social life I could resuscitate from the internet community (since I'm just always holed up inside my cocoon). The one thing most appreciated is its BBM feature though: got me in continuous contact with the most important person in my life: my crazy sister--who's one of the aforementioned reasons why I'm back at my game again.
Named my phone Sherlock. I touched the phone and knew immediately that the phone is a HE and that he's gonna be named Sherlock. It's just perfect, really. Considering my affection for Johnlock fics and that Sherlock Holmes in BBC series also uses a BB phone, well, you cannot blame my mind for associating these things together ^^. Plus, I had both 9900 and 9790 series on my palms and made the following connections:
9900 = male = TOP = Sherlock = buggers
9790 = male = BOTTOM = John = getting buggered
Can't help it if I have the mind of a yaoi/slash/Johnlock addict. I'm basically dependent and these are my drugs.
Not that I'm promoting BB, but really, the phone's just fantastic and swift and gets the work done. So ahoy, welcome, Sherlock! =)
[2] My Workplace w/ My Laptop: Gilgamesh
I never really introduced my male laptop, Gilgamesh, to the world. So here he is. I've been reading all my fanfictions with him and now I'm gonna write along with him. =) With the coming of my BB phone Sherlock came the need to fix my room and sort of rearrange stuff. My work table had been situated before beside my bed and I'm just going to say that the arrangment hadnt really been one to encourage me to get any writing done. I just became so bloody lazy reading on my laptop while lying about in bed. Not really a good position to encourage writing. n_n

The culprit. The one fully responsible for turning my life upside down and making my everyday life worth looking forward to. This, dear people, is the very paradise where the brilliant Johnlock authors reside. Really, you wouldn't experience any lack of supplies no matter how your twisted mind demands a good number of readings to pour over. The site is so well maintained and organized and all the people frequenting it are amazing and active that it'll encourage you to be a part of the community. It did for me. Take note that johnlock is not the sole shipping they entertain so you could read male slash fics of different fandoms also---but Johnlock, I think, is the most powerful shipping and Sherlock the most supported fandom in this site. Hurray! Goodies!
[4] My Lil Sister: NOFAVRELL
If I think about it carefully, she's the main reason I'm now gearing myself up for the upcoming activities and agendas I've set for myself. She's one of the key reasons I'm motivated to actually post on the net all the kind of write ups I've done on paper. She's the one why I feel the need to accomplish things on a timeline and a set deadline instead of going about things lazily and half heartedly. So hail!
